These recordings have been made with a simple stereo laptop microphone using
WavePad software. The quality is (surprisingly) decent, but they should be used with caution. Like any microphone (esp. the cheap ones!), the response is not constant across the frequency range, nor does it pick up all instruments equally. The recordings should be used for tempo,
pitch, style, etc., but
not for balance.
